I'm Gisela,

I moved to the States from Argentina when I was 14 years old. When we first arrived, money was tight, to say the least. My mom worked as a cleaning lady to help my dad support the family. I joined her after school daily, and she and I had a system: she would do bathrooms, kitchens, and floors, and I would do all the dusting. I loved removing all of the accents from dressers, tables, fireplaces, and then cleaning the area and putting everything back together. It was so rewarding. The time spent with my mom was priceless. I learned everything about systems and cleanliness from my mom in those early days. Little did I know, they would be the foundation for a successful 20+ year retail career where I became an expert in merchandising, organization, and logistics. 

Yet, I had more to thank for my mom’s teachings. As a working mother of two girls, my home needed to be a place of both comfort and function. I needed it to be a place where the burdens of the day were checked at the door, leaving room to enjoy the good things in life. Through organization and functional systems that were easy to maintain by every family member, I made my home into a Happy Pad, and I would love to do the same for you!
